Your free printable: 5 quick ways to smash through guilt

If you’ve been reading Champagne Cartel for a while you’ll know that one of our favourite sayings is “guilt is for suckers”. We’ve written about the subject a fair bit, particularly “mummy guilt” (gross, the term even makes us want to spew) – you can read it here.

What we definitely know is that guilt CAN be useful because it gives you an opportunity to revisit a decision you have made or an action you’re taking. But if you’re not going to change that decision or action, then there’s no point to the guilt.

There are a whole lot of messaging out there with the sole purpose of making you feel less of a person and guilty about your life. Because then you’re vulnerable and open to buying something that will help you alleviate said guilt (those marketers are clever bunnies).

So today we bring you something completely free of charge and something that will hopefully give you a bit of a helping hand when you are feeling guilty. Keep it beside the bed, on your fridge, above your desk, in your handbag, or wherever you’re likely to see it regularly. Then, when you’re feeling a snifter of the guilt, whip it out, read it and remind yourself why it’s great to be you and that guilt is for suckers!
