Champagne Cartel loves…Active Creatures

I have a love­–hate relationship with workout clothes – that is, until I found Active Creatures. I have been through phases where I’ve refused to spend much dosh on gym clothes because I thought they were a bit of a rort. But those items inevitable disintegrate in the wash and so I learned to invest in some quality pieces that hold their shape and look a bit fab too.

But I have to say, I don’t love the outlandish costs associated with the image marketing that goes with some brands. They seem to have a cult around them that makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.

This is all a lead up to the fact that I have found the most amazing workout gear I have ever laid thighs on. (#sorrynotsorry)

Active Creatures are a Melbourne label that really know how to mix style and comfort. And what I think really makes them stand out is they say they are passionate about celebrating a woman’s sexuality.

In workout gear? I reckon that’s pretty cool, because when I’m sweating like a beast is actually when I feel my sexiest (oh, and when I have a skinful of margaritas, but let’s talk about that another time). There is something about feeling empowered and strong and in charge of my own body that feels quite sexy to me – and now I’ve got the duds to go with it! Perhaps some day I’ll be able to contort myself into pretzel shapes like these impressive ladies.

I can honestly say I have never been more in love with workout gear than I am with Active Creatures. The pants are the most comfortable I’ve ever owned – including a roll-down top (remember those from when you were pregnant? COMFORT!) – and the tops have a beautiful long line to them so even tall gals like me can hit a tree pose without the slightest threat of any belly fat hanging out. Win!
