17 super cute short hair looks

Last year our Robyna nearly broke the internet with her article 8 reasons short hair will make you feel amazing. She also inspired a short hair revolution with a bunch of ladies cropping their mops and feeling fabulous for it (most famously Mrs Woog who went short as a result).

I absolutely love the idea of short hair. It’s so glam and stylish, it’s easy to wash and you can sculpt it into something fabulous. I always notice women with a well cut short hair style, I think they really stand out in the crowd.

I have serious short hair envy because my hair is so thick and so curly that it is an absolute nightmare to keep short. It grows like the clappers and when it’s short I need to have it trimmed and coloured every 3 weeks. I would so love to be able to chop it all off and look fabulous, but the reality is a horror story of erect wiry puffball fuzz. The images below are me on my honeymoon in India. Left is my cute one week old pixie cut. Right is 2 weeks later and it’s already become a HIDEOUS shapeless ball of wiry yeti fur (in case you’re thinking, ‘god just put some wax in it’ product makes no difference, my hair seriously has a mind of it’s own and the only thing that can control it is a decent amount of length to weigh the curl down).
