How to make a Kir Royale

How to make a Kir Royale

Making a Kir Royale really couldn’t be much simpler – and they are a super popular way to add some pizzazz to your sparkling wine. Frankly, I think they’re a great way to add some much-needed sweetness to an iffy bottle of bubbles. The Creme de Cassis (available at Dan Murphy’s or most larger liquor outlets) adds a blackcurrent flavour, which takes me back to my childhood drinking Ribena. But this is WAY better!

How to make a Kir Royale

  1. Pour your sparkling wine into a flute or coupe glass.
  2. Add three teaspoons of Creme de Cassis.
  3. Stir and drink!

And the good news is that we sell the sexy champagne coupes and the gold tray in our shop.
