Friday linkfest

I thought I’d try something new this week. I read so many great blogs and websites during the course of any given week but I know not everyone has the time – especially not my busy Champagne chums!

So here are some highlights from my week:

Mamamia Tony Burke releasing children in detention at 4.45pm the day before Labor lost the election. Because they’re children in detention. Ace work, Mr Burke!

Fat Mum Slim 30 genius and simple beauty tips.

Honey, You Baked For the easiest way to have dinner ready when you get home. Ever. I have just discovered this blog but I really like it – I’m hooked!

Less Than a Pineapple Jennifer is evil and makes me want to buy something new every week. But I love this post purely for the idea of conducting family dinners at a coffee table with loads of cushions rather than trying to wrangle children into sitting politely on a ‘big’ chair. And now I want to go cushion shopping!

Play Bake Smile This post is a little older than this week but I couldn’t resist sharing. It is a super-dooper healthy and delicious lunch that even my kids would eat (and they are ginormous fuss-pots). Yay!

Heart Foundation A guide to the great seasonal produce available right now – and what to do with it.

Women’s Agenda Response to Bob Hawke’s comments about Tanya Plibersek not being Labor leadership material because she has kids.

My New Roots Interesting piece about the benefits of carob. And for use of the term ‘sweeping the colon clean.’ Am I right?

Fubiz Because how fabulous is it!? And shouldn’t we all looking at something beautiful every day.

Have a fantastic weekend, Cartellians. See you Monday.
