Our makeup workshops: top five most common makeup questions

The last few months have been very exciting and rewarding here at Champagne HQ.

Carolyn has launched The Writers Cartel Career Kickstarter and has her first intake of students word-nerding away right now. They’ll be graduating in November and will be off confidently pitching to editors all over Australia. The next course will open in January, date to be announced.

On top of that, because you know we like to keep busy, we’ve also launched The Makeup Cartel. Australian women told us they wanted to know more about how to apply their makeup, how to choose colours that suit them and how to narrow down the best products. So we hit the ground running with our makeup workshops. We’ve held a bunch of private and group sessions to date and the bookings keep coming!

We have been having THE BEST time with our ladies. We have women of all ages and all levels of experience with makeup. Everyone is always jolly and up for a laugh. I mean how could you not have a good time, it’s all about drinking bubbly, playing with makeup and hanging with your girl posse!

Most common makeup questions

At the moment I am finding there are a few common questions that lots of ladies want answers to:

1. How do I cover up my eye bags?
2. What foundation should I be wearing as I mature?
3. How do I put on red lipstick?
4. Am I a cool or a warm skintone?
5. How do you use illuminator and can you recommend a good one?

At the workshops I answer all these questions and more!
